    • Dr. Samuel Finlay Lusk was Worshipful Master of Royal Blue Masonic Lodge No. 173, Loughbrickland in 1915. He later served as a Captain (Chaplain)with the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC). The London Gazette shows that he was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant with effect from 1 September 1916 and that with effect from 1 September 1917 he was to be a Temporary Captain. He relinquished his command with effect from 1 March 1918.The Belfast & Ulster Street Directory for 1918 records that Samuel Finlay Lusk was the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages in Scarva Co Down, Ireland, in 1918
