      "ZIETSCH.--The Friend of the late Mr. Arthur Clarence Zietsch,.late of Ceylon Government Railways, formerly of Fremantle, and brother of Mrs. J. McLarty, North Fremantle. and Mrs. A. L. McLean. Claremont, are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Church of Engand portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery . The Funeral is appointed to leave Messrs. Arthur E. Davies.and Co.'s Private Mortuary, opposite, the. Railway . Station Claremont THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON,the 25th at 2 o'clock.

    • Ref:Clarence and Richmond Examiner (Grafton, NSW : 1889 - 1915) Saturday 15 September 1900 p 2 Advertising "Private Arthur Zietch. of the Western Australian M. I., who was wounded in the right hip daring a charge with bayonets by his squadron at the Yet River on 5th May, returned by the Persic to Albany. He arrived in Grafton on Thursday, where his parents reside. He states he was 15 days in the hospitals at Bloemfontein, Woodstock and Capetown, and was well treated at . all of them. At the time he was shot, a party of his squadron, with fixed bayonets, were charging the enemy, when they encountered a cross fire, from Boers hidden in the river bed. Six of the Colonials were wounded. A bullet passed through the flesh of Private Zietech's right hip. He is a son of Mr. Jacob Zeitsch."
