    Notes
    • Mary(sometimes called Elizabeth) is widely recorded as the wife of Caldwell Craig of Tobago, but another listing is also found in Midlothian Testaments confirmed in the Edinburgh Commissarriot 1836.It reads

"Mrs Mary Kirkpatrick Aiskell otherwise Campbell relict of deceased Alexander Campbell formerly of Island of Tobago lately res Millhill, Musselburgh d 8 Nov 1836. Mungo Campbell of Hallyards mercht Glasgow. Major James Campbell Walton Park".

Mary may have remarried Mr Campbell, after the death of Caldwell Craig .She is clearly indicated as Mary Craig , grand niece of Robert Kirkpatrick ,of Malaga and Woodford,Essex ,in his will of 1781.Her sister Charlotte Aiskell and brother Flauris Aiskell Jnr.(possibly a misspelling of Francis when the will was later transcribed) are also mentioned.
