    • Emigrated from Ireland to Australia in the 1860s.Issue four children-Davids death notice in 1902 states he was a colonist of 33 years-they arrived in Port Phillip,Victoria,on 29th July, 1869on board the vessel Lightning..Three sons(Arthur, William and Stewart) built Wallace Hut near Falls Creek in the Victorian High country ,in 1889.(Wallace Hut provided an important refuge during the spring and summer months, as they tended to their cattle grazing on the rich grasses of the alpine meadows.)
